We partner with jails and detention centers across Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Texas.

Our facilities range in size from 25 to nearly 2,000 inmates, offering nurses the opportunity to practice at the top of their license while gaining valuable clinical experience in a unique healthcare setting.

Position Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care to patients based on individualized needs and established standards of practice. This role works under the direction and delegation of a Registered Nurse while performing both dependent and independent nursing functions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

  • Monitor and document patient conditions

  • Respond to medical needs in a timely and professional manner

  • Collaborate with medical providers and nursing team

  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation

Qualifications
  • Valid, unrestricted LPN license

  • Current CPR certification

  • Ability to pass a thorough background check
